| About two or three times per year, we take club ships and private gliders to
other soaring locations in southern California. Often an instructor is available
on these campouts. These trips are a great way to get instruction and experience
flying in different conditions and terrain, to learn ground operations at
different gliderports, and to learn alternate launch methods such as autotowing.
