OCSA 50th Anniversary Celebration

Orange County Soaring Association is having an open celebration to commemorate the organization’s 50th anniversary of existence bringing “affordable family soaring” to Southern California. All friends of OCSA are invited to Hemet Ryan glider port for the all-day activities.

Planned are morning winch demonstrations, lunchtime hotdogs, a mid afternoon formal program with coffee and cake, and finally an evening chicken and rib BBQ with beer keg and live geezer rock music.  We will be charging a nominal fee for food and drink to cover expenses.

We will have a wheelchair restroom. The closest local budget lodging is at the Super 8 Motel, 3510 W. Florida, Hemet 92545, phone 951-658-2281.

Past members are encouraged to bring OCSA soaring memorabilia to share during the mid-day formal ceremony.  We hope to see many “alumni” members and all other friends of OCSA from the soaring community on the 18^th!
